Presentation Guidelines

Official Language

English will be the official language of the Congress.

Oral Presentations

Computer projection facilities (for PowerPoint presentations) will be available in the meeting rooms. Presenting authors will receive all technical information and instructions prior to the Congress in order to ensure the smooth running of sessions. The authors will have 8 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for discussion.   

E Poster PRESENTATIONS

Presenters are requested to follow the guidelines below. Please note that NO hard copy posters are required.

Font – Arial / Times New Roman / Tahoma / Courier New

Title text – Minimum font size - 30
Body text – Minimum font size – 18
Graphs and diagrams should be drawn with a minimum line width of 2 mm.


Any of the following formats can be used with the given specifications.

1. Photoshop file
Height – 1280px (17.78 inches)
Width – 720px (10 inches)
Screen resolution – 72ppi
Color mode – RGB 8 bit
Safe zone – 0.25 inches all around

2. Illustrator
Height – 1280px (17.78 inches)
Width – 720px (10 inches)
Screen resolution – 72ppi
Color mode – RGB
Safe zone – 0.25 inches all around

3. Microsoft Word/Powerpoint/Publisher
Page set
Height – 17.78 inches
Width – 10 inches
Margins – 0.25 inches all around

Final eposter artwork shoud be saved as a JPEG file and email to [email protected] 

Clinical Photographs

  • PHOTOGRAPHS should at all times protect the privacy and identity of the subject.
  • Eyes should be blacked out.
  • The source of the photographs must also be declared if not the property of the presenter.
  • This is to prevent the use of photographic material without permission.

 

Conflict of Interest

If any should be mentioned during the presentation It should include:

  1. Paid work by commercial organisations either directly or indirectly through an intermediary.
  2. Receipt / ownership of shares in commercial companies.
  3. Reimbursement of travelling, accommodation and hospitality expenses from commercial organisations.
